separator Edith C. Gross, NP-C - Capital District Renal Physicians separator

Edith C. Gross, NP-C, or Edie, as her patients refer to her, grew up in the greater capital region, the oldest of seven children. While working as an RN at the Stratton VA Hospital in Albany, she continued her studies at Russel Sage College, receiving her Master’s of Science and Nurse Practitioner’s degrees.

Edie joined our practice in 2007. Her office hours are divided between our Albany and Schenectady offices. She regularly goes to our dialysis units- Capital District Dialysis, Albany Regional Kidney Center, Albany Dialysis Center, Rubin Dialysis Center and our new Niskayuna unit, assisting the doctors with their rounding.

Following a hospital admission, your first appointment in our office maybe with Edie. She works closely with our physicians to continue the care they have provided for you while in the hospital.

Our patients often comment on her soft and quiet demeanor. She always has a smile, giving her patients 110%.

She lives in Rotterdam with her husband and daughter. Edie can often be found reading or traveling with her immediate and extended family.
